This is very good. I like the lights and the motion. Composition is not perfect but still works. +9

The motion is great, especially from the perspective you captured it. The wire in the bottom left could be cropped out, but it's not detracting from the main focus enough to cause a change. Fluorescent bulbs are hard to shoot when they are part of the subject, but you made it work here. If you reduced the bulbs only not the surrounding light may bring the focus more to your friend rather then to the light above it, just a thought.

Overall nice work. Six seconds is quite a slow shutter and it's not easy to expose properly at that speed, but you did a good job. The biggest problem with this image is that the fluorescent lights are fighting the sparks for attention, and in fact they are winning. I don't know how much control you had over your surroundings during this particular session, but simply turning those lights off would have made a HUGE difference with respect to the impact of the shot. +7

Superb light effect and this picture is full of interesting details.

Nice pic! Love the details in the background, especially the tools on the left. The straitness of them make a good contrast to the chaos of the sparks. Of course the effect is nice too, but said already,,,
